My trip to England.

I have been back to England for a week, visiting family and friends, I did manage to do my christmas shopping and a bit of craft shopping. The weather was not too kind to me, lots of rain and it felt very cold.

I enjoyed shopping it was so christmassy with all the lights and christmas music playing in the high streets.

Ooooooooh I'm a Winner - UKS Cybercrop

Well I was very excited and pleased I had been selected by the designer, Annette West, (AKA Voodoo Vixen) the class "witch way home" was a book with a frame so it stands up like a photo frame, it was a lovely class to do and I got to use some of my favourite patterned papers. This is my winning entry.  I would also like to thank Zoe of Over the Rainbow Crafts who donated the prize for this class, I received from her some gorgeous christmas papers and embellishments. Many thanks.

UKS Cybercrop Classes

The cybercrop classes started and first up was a class designed by Rachel Millington, "Twister & Shout" this was such a fun class to do rolling paper, sewing fabric. The layout I did I used a black & white photo of my  niece Sophie. This is my layout.

Over the Rainbow was the second class this was another fun class which I liked the designer was Ifa, this layout was using ribbon of which I have lots, so had no trouble finding a rainbow of colours. The photo I used in this layout was of my precious Charlie who died suddenly last year at the tender age of 7.(Bless you my dear Charlie) words cannot say how much we miss you.

Saturday came so quick I was scrapping in my sleep!!!
It was time for more classes and challenges, the next class I did was "The Lollipop guild" this class was designed by Michelle Jackson-Mogford, there was plenty of cutting ripping and inking and I loved this one. The photo I used was of my two dogs, Albie and Travis, we had only just got Albie from England as a puppy 3months old and he looks so tiny.

My next class was a class designed by Shimelle Laine, "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" another great class, the layout is of my  niece Ruby who is only 6months old.

Sundays classes there was 2 more classes and lots more challenges and I only managed to do 1 class, this class was a beautiful class and the one I must say was my favourite of the weekend. The class designer was Annette West, it was a book using the bind it all machine. "Witch way Home".

UKS Wicked Cybercrop

This cybercrop took place the weekend of 13th to 15th November, on UKS this was my first experience of a cybercrop and did not know what to expect.  The theme was the Wizard of Oz celebrating its 70th year. It was truly a fantastic weekend ,I was a member of the TIN MEN team, it was such a great weekend chatting and making new friends and most of all did some scrapping.

Before it all kicked off each team member could purchase a mystery kit for the cybercrop. It was from Sarah's cards and you were only allowed to use what was in the kit with a few exclusions, black and white card stock and pens, from this I made the above LO of my darling Grandson PJ in Florida meeting Buzz and also a mini book.

We also had a pre crop challenge "Home is where the heart is" the challenge was a layout single or double,
What is it that makes "HOME" for you? Of course home to me will always be where my adorable dogs are.

This is my layout with my adorable two dogs Albie and Travis peeping out of the window.
